We are a twenty year old privately owned family 62+ Senior Living Community in Littleton, Colorado. Our campus encompasses 195 apartments in three buildings and twenty-two cottages. The apartment buildings still had their original roofs and were starting to show some wear. The cottages were only ten years old and did not need to be done. We interviewed four roofing companies and chose Key Roofing for a variety of reasons. They were not the cheapest and nor the most expensive but provided the most detail in their presentation and proposal. Andy and Sterling took a full day to walk every building and attic looking at the condition of the building as well as the ventilation of our attic for better air flow. It was determined during the process we should change out our old outdated vents and install new higher tech vents allowing better air flow in our attics. This would also reduce the heat on the third floors for the residents apartments and hallways. Weeks before the project was started, Andy and Sterling walked with our maintenance team to discuss chute locations, parking, safety areas, trash removal, Port o Potties, etc. A plan with maps and pictures was developed before the first trash chute was installed. Sterling gave us a letter introducing Key Roofing to our residents and staff outlining the scope of the work to be performed as well as their contact information. Their crew did an excellent job every day, were very polite and respectful to our residents/staff/visitors and our property. The safety officers on the ground were on top of things and took care of any of our concerns immediately. They walked several times a day with a rolling magnet to pick up any nails that may have made it to the ground. At the end of the day, the entire crew would walk the grounds and pick up any trash, debris, nails, etc. before they left. They even went to each of the residents balconies and cleaned them before leaving. We had prepared the job to take the entire month of May, but they were able to complete in a little over three weeks. It would have been done earlier but a couple of days we had high winds and rain which prevented them from working. Our experience was awesome and I would not hesitate to recommend Andy and Sterling for any roofing jobs.
